First of all, I have been listening to you for many many years and I love the way you can be perfectly diatonic and then throw in a flurry of notes from scales that are out of the key (sort of). Just wondering if it took a long time to get used to using (hearing) the altered and melodic minor scales over diatonic chord progressions?
